Cruising in the Regalia
That last one is using Ansel to clip through the front of the car.
(sort of a bit o’ blogging)
I still utterly love using Ansel in this single game, but my energy for playing (any) games has waned a lot, let alone editing/uploading to the blog with any regularity. I did play through Borderlands 3 on the PS4, but it wasn’t nearly as good as the first two of that series for me, so after a few weeks or so I quit. Other than that I’ve barely touched games since Devil May Cry 5 release period. I’ve reached that spot where it’s hard to replay games you’ve already played to death (I did try some ancient faves for brief moments), but there’s never anything new I’m interested in, either. Gaming industry just isn’t making games that fit my style and I don’t see that changing any time soon. Ah well. Plenty of other things to do. 😀
Have you tried playing some new kinds of games? I don’t know, try something different or try a fresh experience?
I’m currently juggling Borderlands TPS and Everspace, and I just bought Moonlighter which is basically a light dungeon crawler with some shop management thrown in. I’m also thinking about getting Slain Back from Hell because I saw my friend play it and it kinda grew on me. Multiple ways to kill and get killed, hard difficulty, no skills or EXP points, just a guy with a sword thrashing everything he sees. There’s also Graveyard Keeper if you like Stardew Valley with some dark humor mixed in. Don’t have it yet, but am waiting for a good deal on it.
But so far, I’m loving Everspace. It also has a built in photo mode which helps me take awesome pics like this:

Makes me want to go drifting around just for the view. Suffice to say, I’ve got around 7GB of photos and videos saved up already. I love space, I love space battles (especially when I’m winning) and I love the music as well. It’s about spacey as space can get, I suppose. I haven’t played a space game since a long time, I guess. So when I stepped into Everspace, I was blown back to be honest. Wow.
Or have you tried playing something like No Man’s Sky? It’s basically Minecraft but with a whole galaxy and some quests thrown in. Was thinking of it myself, except that the devs seem to enjoy destroying player’s progress by erasing their inventory after a major patch.
Eh, what I’m saying is that I’m sure there’s a game out there for you. Don’t give up on games because they won’t give up on you. Keep browsing around and narrowing your searches. Let me know what video game you’re in the mood to play and I’ll try my best to help or give suggestions. Gamers unite >__<!!
Admittedly 30% of my “problem” is I’ve become very picky, since another 30% of it is too much of the been there, done that aspect. Which leads into another 30% being that I have such a limited range of … styles? I can get into now. Not genres, but gameplay style/trends and presentation. there’s probably only a 10% chance I’m going to like any game I buy/try enough to get past a few hours.
I haven’t given up on games – I’m sure a title will show up once in a great while but it’s just not going to be often and I don’t feel like spending lots of energy trying lots of “maybes,” anymore. Also, I’m always sleepy. I got old and definitely more “casual”, somewhere. Ha. 🙂
