An obsession with Ansel-taken screenshots
Cute as hell and very high quality vs. many player-created mods, great job by the creator. Looks great, animates well and doesn’t feel too bizarre/out of place in relation to the game’s environment etc. I may actually use these most of the time, when I don’t want chicken-birds.
Sqaure finally released the other three models, to coincide with the release of Pocket Edition on console or whatever it is. They are SUPER CUTE and of course, being “Official,” look fantastic and animate wonderfully/just like the normal bro models, with no weird stretching, wrong-angles/positioning or other issues. I am very happy, playing with them makes me grin the whole time. It’s almost tempting to play a new game with them now.
These are the ones I was using before (Offical Noct. + 3 non-official mods) – note the oddball arm positions on the other 3.
No weird arm positions and details/colors are much better etc.

It’s so hard to get good ones of them doing their raised-whisker thing because you have to zoom out so far to get it all in a picture.
…personal note: I’ve been preoccupied with anime/TV (and naps, lots of naps). Plus, out of sheer boredom, I took my very first stabs at trying visual novels, since Steam has quite a few that are free – not sure what I think about them as an entertainment genre yet, a couple were ok/kind of interesting, a couple were boring/terrible. I remember those “pick a choice/path” multiple-ending text novels way back when. They were ok as a kid but as an adult, even digital versions with static graphic backdrops and sound effects/voice-overs are rather meh…I doubt I’d have any interest in paying more than $5 for one, I’d rather simply read a paper novel and use my imagination for visuals, I think. Anyway, point is I may post less frequently for a while, is all. 🙂
It’s just so much easier to take shots of the bro’s vs. overall combat. 😛
I’ve taken lots of pics of these guys – they’re always just too cute.
…I’m about to give up on getting a nice shot of Ignis swap combat (especially Total Clarity’s). Just too much luck/patience involved.
I have some general issues with wider area combat shots: one, I don’t have a great eye for them, two, often I feel like they look like something Prompto would shoot and thus too generic, and three, with size of many enemies vs. size of the bro’s, it becomes hard to see detail and they become scenics more then anything else. Still, occasionally I attempt some. I like this Timed Hunt tho, because of location (the shallow pond) and not being the garula’s.
